Murray has twenty-three years of experience in the Philadelphia nonprofit community, ten of them at the executive leadership level, specializing in organizational compliance and risk management. Murray oversees GPCA’s Housing & Economic Empowerment program, as well as the Performance Quality Improvement department. In a variety of roles throughout his career, he has led initiatives in workforce development, housing security and community development, and Early Childhood education quality improvement. In these positions, he has secured and managed awards totaling $1Bn for initiatives including PA Early LearningResource Center, PA Child Care Information Services, PA Keys, Head Start, Pre-K Counts, PHL Pre-K, the Philadelphia Poverty Action Fund, and Philadelphia Department of Human Services Community UmbrellaAgencies (CUA 9). Murray has an MA from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Arts and Sciences.
