Director of Early Learning

This month, I had the honor of attending and presenting at the 2025 NAEYC Annual Conference in Orlando, Florida. It was an incredible experience to be surrounded by thousands of early childhood educators, leaders, and advocates who share a deep commitment to creating meaningful, equitable, and nurturing learning environments for children and families.

I was proud to present a session focused on Mindfulness in Early Childhood Education, highlighting how intentional practices can support emotional regulation, strengthen classroom culture, and promote educator well-being. The engagement, questions, and enthusiasm of participants reaffirmed how essential mindfulness is, not only for children but also for the adults who support them each day. Sharing tools and strategies that are already making an impact in our GPCA Early Childhood Education Centers was deeply fulfilling.

Throughout the conference, I had the opportunity to attend workshops, learn from national experts, and connect with innovative programs from across the country. I walked away inspired, energized, and full of new ideas to share with our team.

I am grateful for the opportunity to represent Greater Philadelphia Community Alliance, and I look forward to continuing to expand our work, deepen meaningful partnerships, and infuse mindfulness into every layer of our early learning community.
