See all Details for eligibility Here. The first step to getting a one-on-one appointment is to attend the First Time Homebuyer Workshop. After completing the workshop you will receive an email with next steps including the documents we will require from you. Once we receive your documents either in-person or electronically we will work with you to schedule an appointment that fits your schedule and ours.
You do not need to be ready to buy in order to attend the workshop and one-on-one counseling. When you meet with a HUD Certified Counselor, we will help you create a budget and review your current credit report. With the counselor, a goal plan will be created. We move at your pace to make you a better prospective homebuyer.
We will make available a list of lenders and realtors that are familiar with Philadelphia and the surrounding areas. We are unable to connect you to a realtor or lender.
